Publishing Project: "Okinawa - Heritage and Beauty of Ryukyu"

Project Goal:

The "Okinawa - Heritage and Beauty of Ryukyu" project aims to promote knowledge and understanding of the culture, art, customs, martial arts, historical sites, and natural resources of Okinawa and the Ryukyu Islands through publishing activities. The project aims to disseminate information about this unique region through books, magazines, photo albums, and other multimedia materials.

Publishing Initiatives

  1. Books and Monographs:

    Culture and Art of Okinawa: A series of books dedicated to various aspects of Okinawan culture and art, including traditional crafts, music, dance, and cuisine.
    History of Okinawa: Publications detailing the history of Okinawa and the Ryukyu Islands, highlighting their unique contributions to the history of Japan and East Asia.
    Okinawan Martial Arts: Books focused on Karate, Kobudo, and other traditional Okinawan martial arts, covering both technical and philosophical aspects.
  2. Photo Albums:

    The Beauty of Ryukyu's Nature: Photo albums showcasing the natural beauty of Okinawa and the Ryukyu Islands, including beaches, mountains, forests, and underwater landscapes.
    Okinawan Monuments and Architecture: Photographs of historical landmarks, traditional buildings, and historical sites such as Gusuku castles and fishing villages.
